About this course

كل وحدة تنتهي بتمارين قصيرة تُصحح آليًا، مع التركيز على العادات الآمنة في C++ الحديثة: std::vector و std::string بدل المصفوفات الخام، المؤشرات الذكية بدل new/delete، و at() عند الشك في الفهرس.

Modern C++ from scratch: types, operators and control flow; functions and references; arrays, vectors, strings and standard algorithms; pointers and safe memory with smart pointers; object-oriented programming and RAII; containers, files and exceptions – ending in a complete "library manager" console program.

Course highlights

  • Compile and run C++ programs; use variables, fundamental types, std::string, input/output and arithmetic (integer division, remainder, casts)
  • Control flow with conditions, switch, for/while/do-while, break/continue, and trace nested loops
  • Write functions with parameters by value and by reference, overloads and default arguments, and simple recursion
  • Use std::array, std::vector, std::string and standard algorithms (sort, find, accumulate, max_element)
  • Explain references, pointers and object lifetime; manage memory with std::unique_ptr/std::shared_ptr; avoid undefined behaviour
  • Design classes with encapsulation, constructors, destructors (RAII), inheritance, virtual functions and operator overloading
  • Use associative containers, lambdas with algorithms, file streams and exceptions for robust input
  • Organise a multi-file program, debug it, and deliver a complete console application
