By using the Badr Academy Education platform and registering in any of its courses, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your registration.
1. Definitions
“The platform” means the Badr Academy Education site. “The learner” is anyone who creates an account or enrols in a course. “The lecturer” is anyone approved by the academy to provide educational content.
2. Account and registration
- The learner undertakes to provide correct and accurate data when registering.
- The account is personal and may not be shared or transferred. Sharing login details with anyone else is not allowed.
- The academy reserves the right to suspend any account used in breach of these terms.
3. Enrolment and payment
- The payment method available at present is cash.
- Receipt of payment is confirmed manually, and the course is then activated in the student’s account.
- The course is usually activated within a few hours of confirming receipt of payment.
4. Refunds
A refund request can be made within 7 days of the payment confirmation date, provided the student has not used more than 20% of the course’s learning content. Full details are in the refund policy.
5. Intellectual property
- All learning materials (videos, files, quizzes, certificates) belong to the academy or to the lecturers contracted with it.
- Recording, downloading, republishing or selling any content from the platform is strictly prohibited.
- Any breach exposes the person responsible to suspension of the account without a refund, and the academy reserves the right to take legal action.
6. Learner conduct
The learner undertakes to be respectful in comments, course questions and communication channels. Posting any offensive content, or content that breaks Egyptian law, is prohibited.
7. Certificates
A verifiable electronic certificate of completion is awarded when the course requirements are successfully completed. The certificate proves attendance and completion of the course and is not an academic qualification accredited by a government body.
8. Lecturers
The lecturer undertakes to provide original content that does not infringe the rights of others, and to answer learners’ questions within a reasonable time. Revenue shares are governed by a separate agreement between the lecturer and the academy.
9. Data protection
The academy undertakes to protect learners’ data and not to share it with third parties for marketing purposes without explicit consent. Data is used for operation and educational communication only.
10. Changes to the terms
The academy reserves the right to change these terms at any time, and continuing to use the platform after a change counts as implied acceptance of it.
