How is AI changing school classrooms?

AI is no longer a topic left for university: automatic marking and graded exercise generation are within a teacher’s reach, giving back the time repetitive work took.

Artificial intelligence is no longer a topic postponed until university. Automatic marking tools and the generation of exercises of increasing difficulty are now within reach of the classroom teacher, and their direct effect is to give the teacher back the time that used to be lost on repetitive work.

At Badr Academy Education we treat artificial intelligence as a tool that assists the teacher, not a replacement for them. A school student needs human follow-up; the role of technology is to spot difficulties early, before they turn into a gap.

Three practical points

  • Use automatic generation to build a question bank of graded difficulty, then review it by hand.
  • Rely on progress reports to identify the students who need an in-person support session.
  • Do not hand the final assessment to the machine; let it suggest and the teacher decide.
