About this course

دورة عملية قصيرة: كل درس يبدأ بموقف مألوف، ثم أداة واحدة واضحة (إعادة الصياغة، ترتيب PREP، جملة «أنا»، نموذج SBI…)، ثم تدريب بالأدوار على سيناريو جاهز. تنتهي الدورة بمحادثة مهمة يخطط لها المتعلم ويؤديها ويكتب رسالة المتابعة لها.

Course highlights

  • Describe the communication process (sender, message, channel, receiver, feedback, noise, context) and diagnose why a message failed
  • Listen actively: attend, ask open and clarifying questions, paraphrase, summarise, and name listening barriers
  • Speak clearly and assertively: structure a point with PREP, use I-statements, distinguish passive/aggressive/assertive styles, and choose a suitable register (فصحى مبسطة / عامية, formal / informal)
  • Use and read nonverbal cues (voice, face, posture, space), check interpretations instead of assuming, and explain the real scope of Mehrabian's findings
  • Write clear, polite messages (email, chat, announcements) using plain-language principles, and communicate safely and respectfully online
  • Give feedback with Situation–Behavior–Impact, receive feedback without defensiveness, and express a disagreement with observation–feeling–need–request
  • Adapt a message to audience and context, and plan and hold a difficult conversation with a clear goal and follow-up
