• Share experiences of kindness and hospitality, write a diary entry, and use relative clauses
• Analyse literary forms and elements, write a simple poem, and use comparative and superlative adjectives
• Discuss university and career choices, write an opinion essay and a short biography, and use tag questions
• Follow the plot, characters and themes of *The Count of Monte Cristo* (chapters 1–12) and support answers with evidence
