About the resource

Elzero Web School is one of the best-known free Arabic YouTube channels for learning programming and web development. It is presented by the developer Osama Elzero in a calm, organised style, and each subject is split into a complete course of short, numbered lessons, so a learner can progress lesson by lesson instead of getting lost among scattered videos. The channel’s great strength is that it explains in Arabic while keeping the English technical terms that programmers use at work, so you learn the idea in your own language and get used to the field’s vocabulary at the same time.

What you will find on the channel

Who it suits

It suits secondary-school students interested in programming, university students in technical and other faculties, and graduates who want to enter web development or move their career into it. You need no previous experience to begin the fundamentals courses, but you do need patience and regular study, as some courses contain dozens of lessons.

How to use it, step by step

  1. Start with the HTML course, then CSS, then JavaScript, in that order, and do not jump to advanced tools before you have mastered them.
  2. Type every example yourself in a code editor as you watch, then change it and experiment.
  3. Set a fixed time every day, even half an hour, and keep a notebook of notes and the errors you met.
  4. After each course, build a small project of your own without going back to the video – that is the real test of your understanding.

Before you start

The channel covers a great many subjects, so set a clear goal before you begin so you are not scattered between courses. The lessons are in Arabic, which makes the channel especially useful for Arabic-speaking learners. If you want an organised path with follow-up and reviewed projects, the Python course at Badr Academy Education complements what you learn here. The channel’s latest videos appear on this page and you can watch them directly; all rights to the content belong to the channel’s owner.
